It's a cookie to you Painting

Initially I painted this for the David Shepherd exhibition, therefore the theme concerns wildlife conservation. The painting is called ''It's a cookie to you'', illustrating the consequences of ordinary human greed, lack of responsibility and self-control when it comes to urges and indulgence. 80% of palm oil acquired from rain-forests is used in food production. While a human satisfied their craving for a cookie, an orangutan had to experience fear and discomfort without an explanation or a justification that she could comprehend.
