In this oil work, I celebrated the courage and fighting spirit of the WWII American soldiers in the Pacific investing the island of Iwo Jima, the last stop before Okinawa. Thus, I wanted to convey the enthusiasm and human solidarity during the hoisting of the colors at the top of the island. With each figurative brushstroke, I express enthusiasm and expectation of an upcoming victory. It is a painting that evokes resilience and success, infusing an energy of determination and unity.
