ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I painted this abstract in oils on stretched canvas. I was remembering some time spent in Argentina. And the jazz I experienced there. The colors were so bright, it was summertime. And I wanted to bring that memory forward. The deep warm blues were colors I remembered, and the bright oranges and fuchsia were the life I felt. I wanted the composition to move. The sides of the canvas are painted and it is varnished and wired for hanging.
