Katarsis Painting

I will tell you about the feelings that prompted and then were present when creating this picture. I've been looking for a color to start working with this canvas for a long time. And the more I hesitated to make a choice, the more difficult it was in the end. Every day I looked at the white canvas, picked up the paint and painted it.. I did not dare to do the first action. There's an angel and a demon inside of me. On the one hand, I really wanted to start, on the other hand, I did not have the slightest idea about the future work. And then one morning, my phone rang - my friend, whom I had not seen for thirteen years, returned to Russia and the United States. And here he is in St. Petersburg! This event immediately overshadowed my difficult inner choice. We made an appointment. Have you ever been separated from a friend for a long time? Then I'm sure you'll understand! When we saw each other, the world froze: it seemed like we were talking about every year of our past lives. These are simply amazing emotions: joy, happiness, memories. I think I will always remember this day! That same evening I was working with the canvas. The inspiration came suddenly. After all, it is so important to start working with canvas when you are in a great mood. In conclusion, I want to thank you.
