I've been engaged in making art for the past decade, ever since I left the place I lived and the language I spoke, and had to reinvent myself. I have my ups and downs, better artworks and less-than-satisfactory works, try different techniques and subjects. I paint with oil using Liquin as a medium, and my main esthetic driving force is realism merged with abstract techniques. My true passion is rooted in the portrayal of people, particularly female portraits. What drives me: light, real life objects, disrupted realism, limited number of natural colours, intelligence. The most valuable figures in the art world that helped me think and work in a way I do, are Alex Kanevsky, Jenny Saville and Sally Gabori.
