Kids Painting

I am a Ukrainian artist living in the USA. I have been working as an architect for over 20 years. This profession fascinates me; it’s where I grow, meet interesting people, and collaborate with them on incredible and meaningful projects around the world. The profession of an architect allows me to explore numerous fields and constantly inspires me to learn new things. My mother and father are professional architects. I grew up surrounded by projects and drawings, so this is my natural environment. I love my profession and take great pleasure in improving myself in it every day. I’m always open to collaborations and happy to be part of a team that creates beautiful and meaningful architecture. My father is also a professional artist. Paints and linen canvases were part of my environment. Colors and their combinations created a kind of music that constantly played in our home. For many years, I didn’t allow myself to pick up a brush because I was simply afraid. I was afraid of myself. But the war in my Ukraine, the move to ensure my children’s safety, and leaving our home and everything behind pushed me to reconsider my fears. Now, I no longer hold back my desire to paint. I paint and enjoy the process because life is too short to be afraid. My art will always be imperfect, but I’m no longer afraid of that. I know it, and this knowledge gives me freedom. Beauty surrounds us; it’s everywhere. And like others, I’m just trying to capture a moment, and I’d be glad if someone could share it with me. I’m always excited about new challenges and commissions.
