ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Originally Commissioned by Nebraska Wesleyan University for an article about one of their past teachers, Professor of Philosophy, John Rosentrater. Before he became a professor he served in WWI in the 32nd Infantry, also known as the Red Arrow Division. The article follows his journey through the Argonne Forest, No Man's Land, and his discovery of a crater full of frightened German troops while out on patrol.
