LA VACA AFTER EMILE CLAUS Painting

This painting is a master study of the artwork "La Vaca" by Luminist artist (a subset of Impressionism) Emile Claus (1849 - 1924.) Many art ateliers recommend that fine artist students practice perfecting their composition, color, lighting, and other design elements by completing what are called Master Studies or Copies. These art students then attempt to use hand-eye coordination to replicate the master's painting on their own. This is what I have done as a high school art student in 2015 with my own painted copy of "La Vaca" by Emile Claus. 'La Vaca After Emile Claus' is an original oil painting created with high-quality professional oil paints (Winston & Newton, Grumbacher) and various artist media (varnish, etc.) on stretched canvas.
