ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The fourth and the last painting in "Micro" series of blue lupins illustrated in micro view. Beautiful flowers are swaying because of wind blowing slightly and their leaves are shimmering in the sun rays. You can even feel the wind blows that are barely perceptible. Through the light and mild shades used in the artwork it emits relaxation and invite a viewer to immerse in its enveloping atmosphere. Unique moment of nature observation make a viewer concentrate and dive into this process.

When I was a child I realized clearly that there might be a way of collecting the beauty of this world piece by piece. Countless attempts to keep the moments, glances and feelings led to finding myself as an artist, speaking about lifestyle and not the occupation. I am mostly impressed by the subtle vibes which we can hardly catch when found ourselves in this or that situation or place. It is not something tangible, not the performance technique but the spirit that encompasses us and make the painting magnetic. I do not stop making attempts to grasp those vibes and keep them in an art piece before it is missed. In my art practice I basically use stretched canvas and oil paints. These materials and ingredients (including my pure inspiration) are enough for me to produce an artwork that is not only able to represent the charm of the world we are living in but also conveying the mood and the atmosphere of the moment depicted. Still I hold regular experiments working with other materials (e. g. epoxy resin, wood, acryl, petal and decorative crumbs, etc.) and that appears to be a curious activity for me. I usually work in Realism and Imressionism styles or combine certain features of both in one artwork.
