About The Artwork

In this project /the Architect/ the conceptual text and image are presented as a diptych: two means of expression in search of pluralism in perception: The "skin of grief" is stripped and dropped in sun trap in the right season. It still keeps information about it’s old master as a chalk contour from the crime scene. Murder, even manslaughter, is an ethical category and indicates, that live or illusion has been taken by violence. “La Peau de chagrin” could be a wing of a night butterfly, fixed by with a precision entomologist in the collection of self-knowledge. The wild skin of the wild ass of a wild ass - shrinks after every fulfilled desire and invites us to be careful with what we wish. “La Peau de chagrin” could be a wing of a night butterfly, fixed by with a precision entomologist in the collection of self-knowledge. The wild skin of the wild ass of a wild ass - shrinks after every fulfilled desire and invites us to be careful with what we wish. ---------------------- The composition is on paper, acrylic technique and pastel in the aesthetics of the "Sediment Process" on which I have been working for several years. It is a concept for visual language, based on mathematical logic and linear perspectives. The expressive units are multiple sections, which mark the horizon in the object itself and the point of view. It focuses on the artistic gesture and the idea of the aesthetics of slow motion – an ethical opportunity to observe the deviation phase and more generally... for understanding and tolerance beyond the ego.
