I create works that offer a textural complexity and interaction of form, color and content that asks to be deciphered. This art piece invites the viewer to explore the scenery and make sense of the textural components causing a sensory experience that allows the color and texture rather than the content to guide the viewer into a unique emotional and personal destination. "Land of Memories" explores feelings of loss, by exploring lost childhood memories. My artwork frequently mixes figuration of multiple emotions as a cathartic effort to represent the complexity of the emotional self. As an artist I draw inspiration from positive ideals and fuse idealism with reality of daily life. This work is an original, one-of-a-kind mixed media piece, created with acrylic, watercolor, ink and paper on gesso board.
