About The Artwork

Part of my ongoing exploration of Art for Entrepreneurs - creating work that reflects and supports the process of business building. 'Lapsus Prima: the first slip' reflects a key principle of business - decisive action. Artists and entrepreneurs alike require the ability to commit to a decision and then take action with confidence and certainty. “ The path to success is to take massive, determined actions.” - Tony Robbins This piece required the making of a bespoke brush in order to capture a single, spontaneous gesture on the oversized canvas. Once made, the first mark (first slip) served as a guide for future passes, reinforcing and strengthening the initial decision until it became a distinct entity. This is a 3 panel piece. Each panel is 32.75" square, ideally hung with 1.5" spacing between sections.
