Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

His work deals with the eternal struggle between the reality that we are living

and the one that we will live some day, being the current reality a parody of

what could be, where people and their emotions escape happily from this reality

to create a new one. He focuses on the mask as a social tool both to deal with this

current reality and to project the energy towards a more optimal reality.

He mixes in his paintings dualities to create a bridge of contrariness between the

programmed and what remains to be established.

The nature of oil painting makes it the perfect technique to express the

deformation of reality, which makes him approach to his personal vision of that reality.

Aproaching to a balance between realism and abstraction, being the realism a metaphor

of the -deformed- conscience of the person and the abstraction of the world that is

willing to exist including the masks that the persons put on to get closer to it.

Chromatically he follows the same basis, bright colors and pastel colors try to suggest

the vitality and the kindness of life, contrasted with the obscures and gray, symbolizing

the reality itself and the unknown and the future.
