"Lilith" is a painting geared to educate. In all my series, I like to leave one or two paintings where I bring a taboo subject to light. "Lilith" is the first wife of Adam from the genesis. The Christians and other religions have deleted this story from their religious books, however the ancient jewish do not delete her story from the genesis. And the story goes, something like this, "Lilith" was Adam's, created equally like him, 50/50. However, they were so perfectly equal that, she wanted control as well as him. During sexual intercourse, he wanted to have sex with her underneath him and she kept flipping him over because she wanted to be on top. So this went on for a little while, then Lilith had enough, so she left and God send the angels after her, to try and get her back to Adam. She refused, and became the goddess of sexuality and lust. She is known as the woman, that is not interested in love but sexual pleasure. The look in her eyes is that of a predator upon a prey. A man is a garnish in her drink because she is about to swallow him.
