About The Artwork

The ancient Llangyndir Bridge over the River Usk. Yesterday had that cold end of winter feel to both the temperature and the light. I’ve hopefully captured here a sense of that white light as it plays across the stone bridge and fast flowing River Usk as it passes over the stones of the Brecon Beacons. Painted on the amazing Two Rivers 140gsm paper which being made by watermill suits the subject perfectly. This was painted part on location and finished in the studio. 2021, Quarter Imperial sheet size paper, 431mm x 330mm be with rough edges.
