Summer. North view from Uncle Henry’s upper deck - lone pine is well rooted, distant “islands” block off mainland, which is too far to be visible anyway. Shingles on house are all wood. A brown color when freshly nailed up, but salt air turns them silver. Islands change their shapes as 12-15 foot water levels alter with the tides.
