The first panel, dominated by cool tones of blue and grey, features a solitary tree bathed in the light of a distant moon. s.husnasamer on IG Time and memory form the core of my artistic exploration. I am captivated by the elusive nature of time—its pace, its passing, and its permanence just out of reach. This fascination underpins my work, where I aim to evoke a second glance that compels introspection, a moment where the abyss seems to stare back. Memory, inseparable from time, challenges me to redefine it not as a record of the past but as a present, unfolding experience. Can art exist in this ephemeral space, without memory, without permanence? My practice is deeply emotional, driven by a heightened sensitivity that manifests as an extraction of color and essence from both myself and those who cross my path. These encounters fuel my work, with some appearing almost like experiments—moments where human connection becomes raw material. Identity is a constant undercurrent, fluid and mutable, like water. It shifts, adapts, and reshapes itself to meet its environment, existing within my work even when I don’t consciously place it there. I navigate this flux as both participant and observer, fading to and from the background, reflecting a self that is both ever-present and ever-changing. Beyond personal introspection, I grapple with the relationship between my work and the viewer. Can art created for myself resonate universally? Is the act of creation inherently selfish, or does it hold the potential for connection? I see my identity —fluid as it is—as a medium to bridge this gap, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences while engaging with my questions. Through these themes, I strive to craft work that challenges perception, blurs boundaries, and sparks dialogue. My art seeks not answers but reflection, existing in the space where questions themselves become the most profound connection
