About The Artwork
This work started with the idea to make a small lotus flower painting. As I was working, I lost sense of the dimensions and kept painting, adding more and more leaves and with that adding more pieces of paper to be able to keep painting. I love adding a lot of movement to my lines, the fluid brush strokes make the subject come to life on the paper. This artwork is created on 425g Hahnemühle acid free fine-art paper. The artwork is unframed, it arrives carefully wrapped in a cardboard box. Recommended hanging/installation procedures: The artwork can be framed in any way preferred. I recommend framing it and not exposing it directly to strong sunlight. Hanging/installation hardware is not included.

Charlotte Greeven is an Amsterdam-based artist who creates captivating and emotive portraits through the fluid use of ink on paper. From an extensive portrait collection to commissioned work, sculptures and live painting events, her diverse portfolio reflects her creativity and versatility. Inspired by light, movement and colour, Charlotte continues to evolve her painterly aesthetic. Starting her painting career as a graduate from the Royal Academy, The Hague, she has since honed her craft through various courses such as Lighting Design and Scenography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp.
