Born 1988 in Xuzhou, China, Caroline now lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She received her BASc in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo before pursuing a career in Fine Art. Caroline's work takes root from memories and life experiences, coupled with a hazy understanding of identity. The duality of being both Canadian and Chinese, and the apparent dichotomy of being an engineer as well as an artist fuels some of the recurring ambiguity in her paintings. Every painting begins because something about its idea is moving and beautiful. Caroline's work is collected in private collections across North America and Europe. She has exhibited in Toronto and Oakville, Canada.
