This work is an encaustic on wood. The highly textured surface mimics tree bark with deep vines similar to a Banyan tree. The similarities between love and the Banyan tree are many. Love can be overwhelming even smothering at times just like the Banyan tree, but the fruit it produces feeds so many diverse species... Love feed everyone in so many ways. In India where the Banyan tree is indigenous it is called the world tree. Look within the bark of this tree, you may see two forms growing both separately and together. The tree is a symbol bearing deep roots with many leaves and vines similar to love between people. This painting is symbolic of the visible and invisible ties that bind us to one another and the roots which ground us through the weathering storms of life. Allow the energy of the art to remind you that 'Love Grows'.

I am a multidisciplinary, mixed media artist. Merging science and spirituality, I create art for uplifting spaces. Hay, Paramahansa Yogananda, Buddha, The Dahli Lama, Mother Theresa, Jesus Christ, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue, yoga, crystal grids, feng shui, Kabbalah, prayer and sacred geometry to leave both the viewer and environment transformed.
