Love breaks all barriers. This piece, as part of a series of small paintings, is inspired by the impact love has on our lives and in everything we do. Love Handles everything, if we let it, don’t you think?!

Created on a stretched canvas, it has a very thick almost “digital-looking” feel to it. The wood pieces at the back of the frame makes it very easy to hang on a wall. Due to its size, it can also be put on shelves.

Patricia is a Ghanaian visual artist. She works in abstraction, sculptures and video art. As a self-taught artist, she began painting in 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is currently pursuing an MFA in the United States. Due to her love for art forms, she paints solely with her hands and uses no brushes. The works of the Ghanaian artist explores a tenacious urge to think beyond what is seen as she takes you on a course to view her perspective on the human experience on planet EARTH, with color and abstraction. By being extremely observant and noticing the details, she creates her works with this distinct perspective to allow viewers to notice these microscopic details in nature and science, as our whole planet and universe exists in abstraction.” “THE GOAL IS TO ELIMINATE SELF and create thought provoking works that expose people to a new perspective and give them a feeling of optimism through fresh color and distinctive textural forms. I make art to imitate the sense of vastness and energies around us on the planet and how it affects our existence.” Art is a big part of her life and helped her overcome many dark seasons and emotional struggles. She is inspired by the Ashanti traditions, Japanese minimalism (which inspired her artist name), and great artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Kofi Setordji, George Condo, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, El Anatsui, Michelangelo, Midichi, and other popular new artists. She always believes in the ability to create thought provoking art which still expresses genuine creativity with a minimalist feel.
