LOVE IN PURPLE Painting

I am Yulep and as an artist, my passion lies in the realm of abstract art, where I am free to express my emotions and feelings through bold strokes of color and contrasting hues. My art is a reflection of my multicultural background, the memories and emotions that I have accumulated throughout my life. My journey as an artist began as a designer and then as a psychologist, but I soon realized that my true calling was to create and to let my imagination run wild. I believe that art is a form of therapy, it allows me to escape into a world of endless possibilities, a world where colors and shapes come together to tell a story, a world where emotions are translated into visual poetry. I work mostly with acrylic paints and prefer to work on oversized frames. My process is intuitive and spontaneous, I begin with a few marks on the surface and let the colors speak to me. I dance, meditate or listen to music while painting, it helps me to tap into my subconscious and let my emotions flow through my brushstrokes. I am still discovering my unique style, but I hope that through my art, I can connect with people and inspire them to see the world in a more colorful and positive way. My ultimate goal is to evoke emotions and create a sense of wonder in the viewer, to transport them to a different place and time. I am a true believer that art has the power to heal and to bring people together, and it is my honor to be able to share that with the world through my canvas.
