Love is Love is Love Painting

The subject of my work is often where the sky and water meet. Born and raised in Long Island, NY, the Atlantic coast is where I feel most at home. Frequent excursions to the beaches of Fire Island provide me with an endless source of inspiration. My process involves pushing the boundaries of realism into abstraction. By focusing on the energy of a place rather than describing an actual representation, I hope my work gives viewers a sense of connection to a special place close to their heart. ​ My abstract work sheds light on the collection of emotions stirring within me. The theme of my intuitive painting is universal peace. I seek to create layered paintings that display a mix of despondency and tranquility that define my soul. ​ I live and work in New York City and studied at the Art Students League of New York. I held a residency at Trestle Gallery in Brooklyn, NY and since exhibited my work throughout the tri-state area. My paintings reside in private collections in the USA, UK, Hong Kong and Brazil.
