About The Artwork

The series "Logosapiens" wants translate men's personalities through brands that synthesize and match through their history, claims, backgrounds or identity, with the perceived image of their public image. Lucky strike Every smoker know it, that every cigaret you may enjoy can later become a direct link to serious health deasises. It's maybe the same equation happened to US if we consider Osama Bin Laden its cancer since the attack of 9/11. Back in the 80’s, american secret services tried to contrast the soviet attack to Afghanistan finacing and training rebels leaded by Bin Laden for ten long years. Here why the artist wanted to matched the uncaring behavior of a smokertoward its heath with the machist actions from the 80s promoted by the international and military politics of the USA with a dangerous lack of calculation of long terms eopolitical risks. Plus the visual link between the iconic smoking towers from that terrible attack everibody have stiked in mind and the tobacco company name Lucky strike. All strong subconscious links beetween a home-trained terrorist and a homeland tobacco giant, lies we have to buy to from who govern us. Bin Laden cold be considered one of the americans’ product of death like its tobacco indutry. The name Lucky Strike sadly match with the choice of the terrorist to hit the towers with two planes.

Creative direction I used to work as Art Director in TBWA and Havas Milan for a decade to move then in Moscow as Head of Design for lifestyle magazines under the license of the British Bauer Media. Then, I joined JWT Düsseldorf in 2010 as Senior Art director and moved to Munich after two years to lead Triumph International intimate apparel creative and communications team. In 2014, I co-founded in London a creative collective gathering game producers, writers, composers and directors around innovative digital products. With my daughter living in Brussels I moved to Belgium, where in 2018 I was managing Proximus’ cross channel design team, to then fill the position of Head of Creation in Isobar Dentsu Aegis Belgium. In 2019, I created Digital Moses a boutique of experts working on branding and digital marketing, located in a 340sqm industrial space equipped with a photographic studio for in-house content creations. Photography During my years in advertising, I had the chance to work closely with great photographers and directors, most of the time references in their industries from fashion to still-life. Having been on set with them and being involved in the creative execution of my ideas with such artists, it was the best photography course I could have attended. From them, I learned - and stolen - a lot, so it happened naturally, at a certain stage of my Art director career, also stepping behind the camera and start shooting for the lingerie brand I was working for as creative. Other works of mine have been published in some of the well-known art nude magazines such as LIONS, INSTITUTE, Boudoir Inspirations and NORMAL. PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris 2015 Honourable Mention to Venus. 3rd place at Photographer of the Year 2016 with Raw beauty. IPA 2019 - International Photography Awards Professional Portrait Honourable Mention to Distortion of beauty. TIFA 2019 - Tokyo International Foto Award Honourable mention Fine Art-nudes to Victorian disruption. Currently, I’m working on my new photo books about censorship in the new media, titled Nipless and B-sides and the launch of the online magazine KAISER. Another publication of mine was Girls of Milan, a visual essay about girls living in the city of fashion. It took one year of work managing more than 100 sets and collaborating with as many photographers. The book was presented at the Saatchi Gallery, distributed at The Photographers’ Gallery and recently included in the AIGA selection.
