Lulworth cove Painting

Painted from a photograph I took standing on the right hand side of the cove in winter, the beach was deserted and I really liked how the winter sun was just slightly colouring the sky with a hint of yellow. The colours of the sea were just as stunning in winter as they are during the summer. I have tried to capture theses colours and the feeling of standing among the sand and pebbles, looking out to sea. This painting has metallic hints to provide shine in certain lights and I have used a grain medium to provide texture. Painted with professional grade acrylic paints using brushes and knives on quality 100% cotton stretched canvas. Comes ready to hang with a hook on the back or can be framed. Painting continues around the edges so framing not necessary.
