MISERY Painting

This painting depicts a piglet, a poignant symbol of the suffering endured by animals on intensive livestock farms. It denounces the unjust detention of these sentient beings, used for human consumption. Inspired by the commitment of the L214 association, this work highlights the inhumane practices of certain slaughterhouses that do not respect the essential rules of animal welfare. The butterflies in this scene are a beacon of hope. They embody freedom, nature and life. Their presence suggests a future where animals can finally free themselves from this cruelty, and regain the right to live in dignity. With this work, I hope to offer a critical look at the reality of intensive livestock farming, while inviting us to reflect on a future that is more respectful of animal life.
