The Isle of Whithorn lies precariously on the very southern edge of Scotland, a small village of buildings that seem hewn from the rocks around them. Kevan is interested in contrasting rugged textures with soft, sublime light - a yin and yang relationship. The given dimensions are of the painting with frame.
