Mac Miller Painting

Mac Miller inspired this painting through his music and personality. I felt like I grew up with him as he was growing his career. He taught me a lot about life as I started listening to him as a freshman in high school until he passed when I was in college. He made me feel comfortable about who I am as a person throughout my formative years. I was recently featured at the Mac Miller Circles Album Release Event, hosted by Warner Music Group. I would love the viewers to listen to his music. He can play the piano, guitar, produce, sing, everything. The most important aspect was that he respected music culture and it was reciprocated. I miss Mac Miller very much because of his impact on his listeners. I wanted to portray a painting of him that definitely showed off his iconic tattoos and make them feel real. The angel wings represent his personality and how his music would take me into another dimension. The white and black "blobs" are actually representing the symbol of dualism. You can find this in his "swimming" collection. This was a nice easter egg for fans.
