Forms in the form of spirals in nature are common. This is the shell of a mollusk, a young plant shoot, the distribution of seeds in a sunflower, a swirling RAM's horn. Even some galaxies have a spiral shape. On the other hand, if you go down into the microcosm, you can see that the DNA molecule is also twisted into a double helix.
It's everywhere.
From an esoteric point of view, the spiral can be interpreted as a developing life energy. It is called both a symbol of life and an ambivalent symbol linking life and death.
Like the mandala, the spiral is used in meditation. Sometimes used in hypnosis.
The Yin-Yang symbol has a double helix. Twisting between two energies, two beginnings.

Independent full-time artist, designer, photographer. For me painting is about expressing my emotions through colour and texture. I want to convey the meaning of my work. I have so many ideas, and I want to bring each one to life because each one is a story. And now I am at a stage where I feel a tremendous growth, especially within myself. I am currently creating a series of works that are a collaboration between photography and painting. In the near future, these works will appear in the gallery and you will be able to see them. I love working with different materials, acrylics, oil or charcoal, because they have different characters and allow you to express different emotions and moods. My favourite is charcoal, the full contact with the surface of the canvas, feeling its roughened surface with my fingertips, every "wrinkle and pore", a very intimate process that gives rise to sensuous works. I have my own studio in St Petersburg where I create every day. I prefer to use my own style in my work which is unique. The mediums in which I work are painting, photography, mixed media and textiles. Painting is for me a pleasure and an opportunity to create images that did not exist before. When I paint a picture, it comes from the inside and does not depend on art education. What matters is the inner content; it's the spiritual world that counts, not the ability to depict things realistically. Each painting is infused with my passion for life, people's perception of their feelings and emotions, my non-standard way of seeing the world and my love of art.
