About The Artwork
This piece was done in the fall of 2012 after a trailering trip I made out to the Eastern Oregon desert. It is based directly on plein air watercolors I made on location at Malheur Lake in the Steens Mountains. Done on fine Belgian linen using all Gamblin oil paints. This painting comes in a beautiful handmade walnut-stained myrtle wood frame.
