Marc's Daughter Painting

If I would need to choose a special space inside a house, it will be always for me the bathroom as you have seen in other paintings from my gallery. Bathroom is were magic happen in houses. Kind of a sanctuary. The place where you get the most intimacy moment in your life. The space that provides you a ephemeral lonelyness in order to cover part of your basic needs from your daily life. The moment when the life of each and every one stops for a few moments, allowing each of us to flow according to the biological rhythm that we have internally established as humans. Usually commissions or ideas that people, customers and friends have in mind are impossible to do. At least for myself. But sometimes bring some pics that are so powerful in order to develop a painting from them. When you use painting to go further than the base pic that you were using to compose, is when magic happens. This painting represents to me a joyful moments in life and one of the better pleasures in life: A moment of joy with your son/daughter and to be emotionally connected with them. Many friends and people normally ask for some comissions painting their daughter, parents among other relatives. Normally I don't accept that kind of themes inside my annual production, but sometimes people bring some pictures that as a picture is not great but the possibilities of the painting if you choose to paint that pic are awesome and you can go further than in the picture which is awesome when that happens. When I saw this picture from one friend of mine I couldn't forget about out. I couldn't avoid to paint this scene about his wife and his daugther. When both families saw the painting online, one of their relatives felt totally in love and they acquire for them very quickly, so unfortunately its not available anymore.
