Meadows Painting

This particular work was a journey. One that stared with a simple, muted color palette. Then layer after layer transformed into new ideas and expressions of heavy to light brush strokes, charcoal lines, and palette knife impressions. I chose to work with acrylic because these paints have a quick drying time and that makes it easier to work with layering. I've always enjoyed working with layers because most of the time you can see through one layer to another and that reveals depth and also gives a sense of history to the piece. This piece will be shipped rolled up. It will also contain a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by the artist.
