Pretending to be happy
in submarine
downward slope
For the longest time I pretended to find things interesting, because I hardly found anything truly interesting. Oodlies stands for the Odd Lies I frequently tell myself.

My lies were often so peculiar I had to unearth them using various devices and props. Art being a major device and humour my most effective prop. Humour helps me face my oddities in a way that makes me feel at home with myself. Like a slightly naked hairy hug. And art stills my shaky understanding of life so I can take notes.

Over time I realised everyone else was also lying to themselves in an odd way. So I started sharing my art to meet like minded liars.
