ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this series I have been interested in pairing animals with flowers and in this case have picked Roses to go With the Merino Ram; possibly because the spiral form of the Ram's horns goes well with the spiral form of the roses or maybe just for fun. This work is painted on 300 gsm Arches watercolour paper which is in three different layers with space in between the layers which lend an interesting 3D effect to the painting. It has a 3 cm wide antique silver finished frame.
