About The Artwork

I am learning about different symbology related to spirituality in different religions right now and found this image to be exceptionally interesting, so I painted it with my own spin.. In folklore tradition, Metatron is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe or "recording angel". In Jewish apocrypha and early kabbalah, "Metatron" is the name that Enoch received after his transformation into an angel. Metatron’s Cube starts with the Fruit of Life shape, and connects all 13 circles with straight lines. Metatron’s Cube includes all 5 Platonic Solids hidden inside, symbolizing the underlying geometric patterns found throughout our universe. It’s named after Archangel Metatron, who watches over the flow of energy in creation and provides a connection to the divine. Metatron’s Cube is balanced and provides a visual focal point for meditation. It spins with energy to help you replace negative thoughts with positive ones and reminds us that the universe wants us to discover our personal power and use it to do good. The symbols I personally included are Zibu Angelic Symbols in clockwise descriptions below: 1:00 Healing 2:00 Prosperity 3:00 Let Creativity Flow 4:00 Awakening 5:00 Luck Will Follow Me 7:00 Live in the Present 8:00 Gratitude 9:00 Abundance 10:00 Creativity 11:00 Grounded and Stable Center A New Beginning

I have a profound respect for artistic transcendence through mythology. My art is representative of many different religious symbols, mostly gods and images considered to be sacred. Inspired by books, my personal life, spiritual symbols and their dimensionality, and histories, I paint the emotions they invoke in me. I am heavily influenced by philosophy, Architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright, sacred geometry, Egyptian history, Hinduism, and Buddhist images. My style is perfectly imperfect, wabi sabi. Perfection is a fleeting goal and for me and painting has been a journey into acceptance of myself imperfect, as is. As a lover of architecture, balance and polarity, sacred geometry speaks to my soul. History and world religions are interwoven themes throughout all of these pieces.
