First of all, mushrooms are the perfect creation of nature from aesthetic point of view, as well as from biological one. Secondly, for several years my mother dreamed to grow amanitas in our garden near the house, under the fur trees. And it never happened. They wanted to grow only in the forest. So I started making artificial mushrooms. I paint them as natural. But I also like fairy tales very much. I always felt sorry for the undeservedly forgotten illustrations for fairy tales. I find painters who draw pictures from old books on my mushrooms. And now I have my favorite mushrooms with beloved plots. For each new season or holiday I have a mushroom that creates mood and maintains the atmosphere, because it can be held in hand, explored, and contemplated.
