I'm Finnish Polish visual artist and graphic designer. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 2011. Immediately after graduation I moved to Finland, and for the first few years I lived in Lapland. The nature and sensitivity of the North have always fascinated me. My works are typically series of pieces of art. My works are expressive landscapes that flee between the figurative and the abstract. They include stagnation and movement, mysterious shadows and light. As a visual artist, I am inspired and interested in, for example. Works and life stories by Alberto Giacomett, Cecily Brown, Francis Bacon, Vincent van Gogh. I would like to get the viewer to reflect on the sensitivity and feelings of human life. The work can be both liberating and therapeutic for both the author and the viewer. What is important to me is the feeling that painting brings to a person. I hope it passes on to the viewer as well. "We are in this world for just a moment, that's what the series is called Deconstruction. "Deconstruction" is a series of drawings depicting the ultimate destiny of man. This last journey is ahead of us all. In this context, I have experienced bereavement. I have tried to draw the inner world in different parts of the human body. Through it, I would like to show that we have our own wounds and memories of the past. We are not just a human body, we have 'written' our entire history inside. My own life experiences have inspired me in my project “Postpartum - Dare to Speak”. I dealt with the mental health of women after giving birth. I received a grant from the Pirkanmaa Cultural Foundation for this project. This gave rise to a strong series of works depicting suffering, pain, loneliness, hardship, sadness and weight as a woman becomes ill after giving birth to depression. Often, it is still taboo for people to ask for or offer help because the general belief is that a woman has strong maternal instincts and everything related to motherhood should be knowledgeable and controlled as if from the very beginning. This is the beginning of a great life change “What is important to me in art is its social significance. I wanted to use art to highlight a topic that was too often silenced - postpartum depression.
