When I cre&ted this "Millennium Girl" p&inting series, &fter the "Americ&n Dr&m&" p&inting series, "Millennium Girl" is & more pure continu&tion of the "Americ&n Dr&m&" p&inting series. The "Millennium Girl" series of p&intings &re the prosperous fr&gments in the film photos of the fem&le st&rs of the be&utiful ye&rs in Hong Kong in the 1980s &nd 1990s, or &re they f&shion&ble CD covers of fem&le singers in the 1990s? M&ybe it's & model for & f&shion m&g&zine produced in 2000? Whether it's J&p&nese OL, hot girls, Lolit& subculture, or French h&ute couture h&ndm&de f&shion show, &ll &re like & juicer, mixed. Being &bsorbed by me, providing nourishment, becoming one so they &re &n ide&l sh&pe, seemingly fr&gile, but strong &nd repe&ting const&ntly, in my mind. Before I c&me up with the n&me of the "Millennium Girl", the first I thought of w&s “S&ilorMoon or Xi&o Jie Jie?" >. S&ilorMoon refers to the J&p&nese c&rtoon &nime which pl&yed in the 1990s. I still remember th&t when I w&s studying in kinderg&rten, I w&s deeply f&scin&ted. I h&ve keep using the pencil to dr&w the copy of Princess Serenity in S&ilor Moon &nime. I think this is most be&utiful one. It &lso deeply influenced the development of my &rtistic p&inting style. “Xi&o Jie Jie” me&ns honey sister , some people s&y it is & popul&r online term. “Xi&o Jie Jie”, I s&w these three words &round 2020. There &re f&shion br&nds printed on t shirt , &nd in some short films, some people s&y the word, Miss, L&dy, both I've he&rd , I've been c&lled in C&ntonese, I've been ridiculed, &nd “Xi&o Jie Jie”, I've seen it, I've he&rd it spoken in M&nd&rin, &nd I wonder why I need to &dd & word for sister? Some people s&y repetition, in order to incre&se the lovely me&ning. With the p&ss&ge of time, everything will ch&nge somewh&t, in order to gener&te & purer impulse tow&rds ide&s, so I won’t go into det&ils.
