Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Marker and Watercolor on Canvas.

This is my first portrait. I've abandoned everything I knew about art and my skills, and I let it go. I just took a picture I've made time ago and I started painting, using watercolour first and acrylic then. Eventually, I've ended up using markers, my favourite media so far.
There's no much story behind the painting: the man portrayed is a good friend, and I just painted what I felt was true about him. It isn't identical to the original subject, but it captures his essence.
In the painting there's also part of my soul and emotions, as I believe I reflect a bit of myself in every artwork I do.
