Moana fleuri Painting

Pacific Islanders traditionally love to gather together for events such as dancing, singing, and oral presentations which they call "Orero", the art of dramatic speaking. The children often come from the various school districts to participate in these events. They are decorated with flower crowns and leis, and bright coloured clothing in groups that match--festivities that are a feast for the artistic eye! This young boy is named "Moana" which also means ocean, and I called him the "flowered ocean'. I loved the play of light and shadow, and the contemplative presence of his gaze. I do have a sculpted framed in tropical wood that could be ordered separately. I can ship by tube or box, depending on if I send it with or without the stretcher.
