I was born in Paris. Currently I live in San Francisco. I paint with oil on canvas. I have always been interested in the process of painting so I leave a large part to accidents and randomness. I use palette knives, brushes and rags, layering, dripping, scratching paint to create a surface that embodies a sens of time and space. I like to have to deal with the long history of painting as a source of knowledge and questioning. The watercolors of J.M. William Turner are always a source of Inspiration. My "Space" series between representation and abstraction illustrate an imaginary and ephemeral place. My goal is to communicate with the viewer in giving him the freedom to explore the painting for himself.
