Education Massachusetts College of Art BFA Ozella gained notoriety as an award winning fashion blogger for now defunct magazine Buzznet. After amassing a following of several thousand fans mostly young girls who followed her edgy original fashion creations she founded her own couture fashion label. Ozella became a regular in the NYC fashion party scene and began hosting fashion events. Her looks often pushed boundaries and mixed fantasy, romanticism, the occult, surrealism, and history with cutting edge technology. Her couture fashion pieces have been worn by celebrities such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Amanda Lepore, Carmen Electra, Tokyo Diva, Kayvon Zand, Boudoir Queen, the Daughters of Devotion, and Ihateblonde. Her experimental film "Starving the Bitch Thin" was shown at Mass Art Selects in NYC in 2005 and at the ICA in Boston. Her musical feature length directorial debut film was shown at Coolidge Corner in 2007. Ozella’s original fashion creations have been shown at the prestigious Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum in Boston (2019), the Soho Grand hotel in NYC (2018), the Museum of Sex in NYC (2015), the DL in NYC, and at Machine in Boston. Her work has been published in Vogue Italia magazine, the New York Post, Paper Magazine, Art Tour International, Style, Next!, Revelation Magazine, Faint Magazine, the Weekly Dig, and in countless other publications. Tara's paintings have been shown at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Lovecraft Bar and gallery in Manhattan, Attleboro Art Museum, Arts at the Armory, Stingray Body Art, and Out of the Blue Gallery in Cambridge. She now splits her time between Los Angeles, CA, NYC, and Cape Cod, MA.
