Born in Poggibonsi, Siena. begins with the Sienese master painter Otello Chiti and continues over time with the master painter and engraver Leopoldo Ferruzzi. Since 1993 she has participated in various Symposiums, first in Germany, Portugal and Trento and later in the Czech Republic. She began to exhibit in Poggibonsi in 1977 by participating in the first review of painters in Valdelsa and since then she has continued her artistic activity with personal exhibitions and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Collaterally, she works as a graphic designer with her own studio, alternating the activity with internships and training courses. Working from many years. I always preferred the material surfaces and thickness, on which work with colors. I started a long time ago using wood, a flat surface like a canvas on which incidevo, graffiavo, dug and then coloravo before the excavations and the incisions and then the surface. With this technique I have made many abstract paintings and then another with the theme of the fantastic figures of which I have many designs work done on different media. For several years I of sculpture, of small dimensions, made with tissue paper, combining many layers together, thus realizing a compact and wrinkled surface. They are based on my research begun deepening the work of Giorgio Morandi and extending my curiosity about Giacometti, Brancusi and others. Jobs are very "silent" almost oriental. Currently, work always the paper, making many layers, one over the other, as a story that stops at a certain point, on which work with inks and acrylics, then still lie of lightweight paper, "covering" the work and then continuing to wash still above the surface. Slow work in the preparation but then becomes dynamic in the final. Apart realizable also of figurative works with the same technique, but more graphics.
