This is a humorous, abstract mixed media painting of many layers on artist quality canvas. I varied the texture between smooth and rough. The sides of the canvas are painted white. Because of its size and lively colours it looks stunning at a wall. The painting is ready to hang with picture wire between two folding eyelet/pointed hangers. Please have a look at the detail photographs. I should say that Mr Miller can count himself lucky to have such a vibrant dream. This size in inches is 39.4 x 31.5 x 1.8. To lower the shipping cost I can offer to take the canvas of the stretchers and roll it up. It will be easy for your framer to stretch the canvas again. ARTIST STATEMENT: Life is a largely subjective experience; but that subjective experience is my bridge to the objective world. And it’s this synthesis of the two that I am trying to capture. INSPIRATION AND PROCESS: I love experimenting and want to give my works an individual expression. I have two lines of work: I love painting almost (but not quite) realistic, somewhat utopian, nature images and on the other hand I really enjoy doing non-objective/abstract art. I am inspired by the beauty and power of natural phenomena, the mystery of nature, its colors and forms. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind work in which I try to combine feeling and thought. I work most of the time with acrylics but I also mix acrylics with other media such as oil pastel, soft pastel, spray paint, graphite and charcoal or ink. All materials I use, if canvas, paper or paints are of artist quality.
