This piece is a semi self portrait, depicting BerriBlue as the mother figure, holding Muszka, her little chihuahua. As well as a sweet, simple figurative image, the piece also portrays the maternal connection between mother and child, and, of course, owner and pet. The piece is now in a private collection in California.

Though well known for her street art, BerriBlue is also a successful studio artist. She has had four solo shows to date, and her work is held in collections in Dublin, Lisbon, Mozambique, Porto, and Los Angeles. She trained as a printmaker and graphic designer, and has released a line of beautifully illustrated silk scarves, though painting was always her first love.
