About The Artwork
Original painted collage. This piece of work depicts a lost dystopia with haunted figures, brutalist architecture and lost souls collectively known as "Grand Estates". This work was made using collage, billposters and photographs which were then then scrapped through and worked over with thick oil paint to create an abstract textured surface. This artwork is a collaboration between artists Anna Louise Simpson and Norrie Harman and is included in the "Grand Estates" series of artworks. + signed + framed (white box frame with 30cm mount)
