About The Artwork

This 2014 painting depicts the so-called "narrow street" in Brasov, Transylvania, Romania. It is an actual landmark in the region, due to the picturesque medieval architecture and special, Lilliputian size. I visit it every time I go to Brasov, or Kronstadt as the Saxons called it in the Middle Ages. Due to its bright colors, in tones of yellow and orange, this print will brighten any wall of your house or office. It is a happy image, like the way the place makes me feel every time. I chose acrylic colors to paint it because of their vivid tones and graphite pencil contours for contrast and graphic properties. It was painted as a miniature, so I believe a small format print suits it best.
