Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

This is a path that I frequently walk my dog along. Every spring this path becomes almost completely overgrown. Blackberry, broom and brambles usually flourish there during this time of year. Although it is scrubland and populated by weeds the birds love it, and often large flocks will dart out right in front of me. Fantail birds who aren't shy often flit and fly very close catching bugs stirred up by our presence. This area has been a source of other works also e.g. Hedgerow and Autumn Flourish, Silvereyes in the Rose hips. Most of my works are inspired by my immediate surroundings.

* This painting has multilayers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural, finished with a quality varnish for a protective finish. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars, the painting is ready to hang.

*All paintings will be packed by the art packing professionals Pack and Send to their international standards.
