'Ned' is a gritty abstract artwork about the outlaw, Ned Kelly, is a striking and powerful representation of the notorious Australian bushranger. The use of bold and contrast colours, creates a sense of grittiness and toughness, which is appropriate for the subject matter. The abstract composition of the painting creates a sense of movement and dynamism, evoking the sense of a turbulent life that Ned Kelly led. Comes framed in tasmanian oak, painted in black enamel. If you would like to see more photos in different light or video don't hesitate to contact me and I can organise that for you.

Ethan is a *rising artist from the Northern Beaches, Sydney. So naturally he was always going to be a lover of the ocean and outdoors, he has always strived to break away from the traditional 9-5 lifestyle, working as a male model in the fashion industry his adult life. He's been fortunate to travel and live overseas, but coming back home in awe, seeking inspiration from his natural surroundings. Ethan's artwork reflects his passion for Australian themes and its beauty. His work primarily falls within the abstract art realm with gestural abstraction being at the forefront of his creative style. Despite being colourblind his use of bold colours and intriguing textures creates a sense of movement and energy in his pieces that is uniquely captivating. After being selected for ArtExpress, he was on top of the world. So he decided to take a break from art to celebrate his own greatness. But as the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, he realised that maybe he wasn't quite the prodigy. But now he’s back and ready to take on the art world (once he figures out how to hold a paintbrush again). p.s I hate talking about myself in third person *according to mum
