ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting signals a new direction for my art with the launch of the alias KiPS. It's also by far my biggest ever commissioned painting at 7ft x 5ft! This alias is simply a means of keeping my contemporary and abstract art separate from my Ian Salmon Art portrait/auto/pop art commissioned work. The piece is titled 'New Dawn'. I utilised household enamel paint to carry out the pouring and dripping effect, created loads of mess and had a lot of fun in doing so. This finalised commissioned piece now sits proudly in its new home in South London.
